Smiley Thank you again!

oh and perhaps you have an idea for this:

on the side engines you can see the stuffing, i have thought about making little black pillows to stick in there to hide the stuffing, any thoughts?

If you can crochet, you could just pick up some stitches there, and work around until it's full.

I'd use a smaller hook than the needle you used. Make it really tight, and easier to get into the hole.

umm I'm not nearly as skilled in knitting you as you may think I am,
I can knit, I can purl, just learned elongated stitches, oh and I think i have hte hang of the DPN's now, I'm just starting to dabble in cables, and I want to knit a sweater but the patterns scare me Smiley

this project was mostly math and basic stitches, if you can knit a jayne hat you can do this too.

I have no idea what you are talking about but it's insanely kick ass anyway.  I don't think I've ever seen light up knitting.

I would love to do a personal swap!

(And I would trade anything I own plus a part of my soul, heck all of my soul, for some homespun yarn)

If the vest thing is offwhite over a pink toned sundress in the episode objects in space, I had a friend who made that costume by raiding thrift stores, she found a crochet vest that worked perfectly, Summer Glau even isntantly recognized the costume Smiley

If you are thinking of the oh so ragged looking brown shawl thing from the heist scene of the movie... let me know if you figure that one out, because I want that costume!

As for her sweater in safe, I found one very similar at a thrift store, its tag reads old navy, its white but i think i can dye it that shade of reddish pink.

http://still-flying.net/  If I have missed the vest in question  this website has some wonderful screenshots that might help

wow, you really dont eff around with firefly, do you?
Yes, it was the one from objects in space.

Do you find it weird when you hear Summer speak? I was watching the bonus features and whenever they showed her, it felt really weird that she wasn't speaking in semi-prophetic disjointed sentences.
But maybe thats just me.

Is the vest your friend found done in filet crochet, because that's sort of what it looks like to me...
