I love these socks and have to make some!  Only because I am stubborn, I'm knitting them toe-up and trying to size them up to fit a men's size 11.  It's going to take me awhile to do the math before I start knitting, but I'd love some company.

I've read on Ravelry the pattern's kind of challenging, so join up and let's do it together!

Ooh count me in! I'm going to try to convert this to toe-up and on 2 circs, since that's the way I like to make socks!

Toe-up knitters unite!

Personally I like doing it that way.. I knit each sock from a separate ball, and keep knitting until I run out of yarn.  That way I know I won't run out an inch from the toe, and no pesky extras to find something to do with.

I have these on my to do list.
As soon as I get my other pair of socks done im moving on to these.
I am only on my second pair of socks. So these socks might be a challenge for me. But im going to give it my best.

Here's my progress. I'm using Regia Jacquard yarn (I got it on sale, that's why the colors are so hideous). The yarn doesn't work well with the pattern, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work well with any pattern. I'll keep working on them anyway to get rid of the yarn.

The pattern is really easy and lots of fun to do!

I don't think it's hideous at all!  Looks like a modern painting!

I love the look of these socks. I started the traditional way, but I could not conquer those 5 small 2.5mm needles. Now would be the time to start to use those circular needles and apply them to these socks. I have the circular sock instructions, but maybe I need to hear some tips from the sock pros as well before I start.

I really like the yarn. I'll happily wear them.

I'm just eavesdropping here because I'd like to do these socks, but only if I can do them toe-up on circs, so I'm checking your progress. Looks like it works fine on one circ. I prefer 2 at a time on 2 circs, but I have a feeling that wouldn't be possible because of the shortrows. Those who have started, what do you think?

b1znatch -  I don't think those are hideous at all! How are you going about converting them to toe up? Are you just working the toe and then following the instructions for the shortrows as written for cuff down? Or are you having to change the shortrow parts at all?
