badass knitter
« on: October 09, 2007 02:58:17 PM »

Okay so i'm having a b-day party. And my friends are asking me what i want and most of them are non-knitters. I really want yarn. Should I ask for it? And what are some other ideas for my b-day gifts? All suggestions helpful.... right now i have the thumbalina soundtrack and that's it.{long story} Undecided Smiley

Knitting- if everyone did it there would be less problems in the world.
SO MUCH YARN!!!....... so little time!!
Any good patterns you see please send me a message about them.

nah , they'll get you all the wrong yarn. if you have any LYS, get them to give you gift certificates to them or micheals... or some yarn /knitting accesory like a ball winder or something? (i know gift cards are boring..)

How about knitting stuff, likes books? magazines? needles? Does your LYS have gift registry?

I would ask your friends if they've seen anything cool knit-wise.  I've been surprised (very pleasantly) that my friends will let me know if they've seen a cool knit book they think I would like.  This includes my friends who don't do anything crafty (so they're lurking in the craft section of Barnes and Nobles...lol).
