I think it could be a on a request basis, maybe.

so I would decorte my cover and my sign in page and ask everyone to send a tag ( or whatever) when they send their pages, and I would send out whatever they wanted to recieve when I send them my completed pages.

That will work.  Smiley

Those smaller size tags aroze is talking about (1 3/8 by 2 3/4") can be easily found at most office supply stores, or you can make your own small tags.

Good point, as the backs of pages will be blank. I would probably paint or paper the backs, too, and then add artist info there. Or would the double thickness be too much for the skinny books?

uhoh, sounds like I'm joining in my head already.

Heh, heh, heh.

I think it would be cool (but not required) for people to decorate the backs of their pages. That way, the owner of each book would not have to glue all those pages together.

This first round is sort of an experimental round. We may change things up a bit for next month depending on how this runs. Thanks for being patient while we work things out.  Smiley

I definitely like the idea of decorating/signing the backs of the pages-even if it's simple. But I still might ask for tags or atcs for a sign in page-I just like the way sign ins look Smiley

Okay, my parents come to visit on Monday for a week and they've asked if they can bring anything out since they're going to Hobbycraft for some surprise bits for me, yay! According to the website they carry Cachet stuff so I'm going to send them on a mission to find it for me. I'm not going to get excited though just in case they don't find one, but fingers crossed!

From what I have found out in my hunting/research  "cachet" is more of a thing instead of a brand?

What if we did single pages instead of 2 page spreads?  Then each artist could decorate the front and back of a single page, and but their artist info on the back?  One additional advantage would be that you could have more pages from more artists in one journal.

Most of the chunky book page swaps I've seen have been done that way.
