I hear talk from time to time about indie craft shows in CT, but no one is really going for it.

I'm seriously considering doing this. However, I'd like to have an idea of how many people would participate before I start really getting going on organizing this. (Y'know, why waste my time and effort if no one is interested?)

So, if you would be interested, please let me know. I need you to be serious, though. I don't want to hear a bunch of "maybes" because that means most people will bail when the time comes. If there *are* enough of you out there, I'm willing to give it a go. Maybe we can make this happen once and for all!

I'll post a link to this topic on the Stitch 'n Bitch New Haven Yahoo group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SnB_NewHaven and to the Nutmeg Knitters Ravelry forum: http://www.ravelry.com/groups/nutmeg-knitters.

You could also try posting to the New Haven Craigslist: http://newhaven.craigslist.org.

I can tell you that members of S'nB New Haven tried to get into the New Haven City Wide Open Studios and Boston Bizarre Bazaar this year, so there's definitely some interest.

Thanks, I'd really appreciate that.

I also posted on CL yesterday. Hopefully, that'll generate some sort of response.

I'd imagine that it would be difficult to get into Boston Bizarre Bazaar. I dunno, in my mind it seems like this huuuuge thing.

I'm not really in the Wallingford area but I'd be willing to travel! I have been looking for a craft fair that isn't made up of grandmothers (no offense to grandmothers of course, I just don't think they would like my "bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity" shirts!)

I wanna get at least 20 people together. I'm shooting for February. Like an alternative Valentine's Day kind of a thing. (There isn't enough time for Xmas.) I hope we can do this. Tell everyone you know! Cheesy

MatteasMama, I'd so wear that shirt!

Haha. Yay, pilgrim hats!

I would so do this too! Though if it were in February, I'd probably have to wait until the next time. If it ends up being a little later, I would definitely do it.
