My plant died and it was so cool I couldn't bear to throw it away! So, I made these!

What a great idea! my plant died now too, and i am very sad, because he even had a name! Fred.. My dad did kept it from death a while ago but now it has happened.. So it will be nice to make something like this!

Like I just seen on a similar thread, (sorry, forgot the author), can you fill the cap with acrylic, or whatever the name of that stuff is that hardens and is mostly clear?  If you did, would the plant stop for rotting?  It reminds me of the paper weights my little bother had, that were made of plastic and had dead scorpions and tarantulas in them.

It's resin and once you put your item in it, it stays that waym with the exception of items like flowers and such!

Yeah that stuff!  Can you tell I'm new to this stuff?  That totally blows you can't use it with plants and such.  Otherwise, those are totally cool.
