I've been busy with Medieval crafting and sewing lately, getting ready for a couple of big events in the upcoming months (and because I'm sick of looking like the poor country cousin at events).

BUT a month or so ago I finished my first ever "proper" bag (no, seriously) - as in lined and pretty and I'd be happy to give it to somebody else.
It's a little over the size of an A5 notebook, and will comfortably fit said notebook, one of the larger style ladies' purses, a small digital camera, some pens, a ventolin inhaler, lipbalm and some tissues. I know, coz this is what I usually carry round with me, and I tried to fit them all in.
It's lined with vintage floral fabric that I got in a personal swap - which, I realised as I was sewing it, I forgot to put any sort of pockets in! Sad
So it's just one hole for stuff.

I also made a felt flower brooch to go on the outside (because the fabric, whilst very soft brushed cotton, is a bit plain). I got the instructions from a book my friend loaned me. the colours match the lining of the bag. Smiley

I make purses for a living and you did an excellent job for a first-time!  Way to go!!
