Here is my  latest found art assemblage titled "Forgive and Save"

It's made of an old rusted cookie tin, copy of photo from the 1920s, old sheet music and various found glass, tin and nails.

It's so cool to recognize your own bits and pieces in someone else's art. Fantastic job Balkandina!
I really like that bit of rust on the upper right of the picture. How did you achieve that? I too love rust.

That is a lovely bit of rust lace, isn't it? I found a piece of rusted tin which I threw in my yard art rusty stuff pile. Then when I rusted my newer pieces with bleach and vinegar I used it as the catalyst. I guess I kept using it so often that it began to disintegrate into the lace. I was waiting for the right art piece to use it in.

it is amazing! I really love the scale of your art work. it is really profound and aesthetically appealing to me. I really like it. You should post photos of it in its surroundings.

I really like this, my favorite part is the blue, its unexpected but adds so much to the piece!

CraftyImperfections-Thank you so much. I appreciate the feedback. ( and I hadn't seen you on Craftster recently and was worried Smiley )
And I do think the blue tile helped the piece become itself-more bits from Babbetto's desert hikes!

Funny about those blue bits. They were in a washed out gulley way outside of town with only a bit of broken down car for companionship and the two were the only blue bits in the area. It was like they were waiting for me to find them and send them to you.
They do look beautiful in that great piece you've got there.

I do love that rust lace too. VERY cool looking.
