I finished Provincial Waistcoat from IK winter 2006!
The yarn is chunky acrylic/wool blend from Korean yarn market.
I actually tend to think the design looks better in this yarn than in the one used in the book, doesn't it?  Grin

I'm satisfied with the overall fit, but in fact I got the "Cross 2" pattern all wrong. The pattern direction was confusing, and I guess "knit same st" should be "knit same st in the back" instead? It's actually the same pattern with the one used in "my so-called scarf" but they put it the opposite way Sad I didn't find out exactly what I was doing wrong until I got past the armholes, and I chose to continue in the wrong pattern.

Close-up of buttons. Oh, how I love them! Picking the right buttons has never been an easy task for me, and I'm quite proud of myself for picking these out.

The result is great. The yarn you've picked does show off cables better.

Amazing!! I am consistently less than thrilled with the patterns in IK until I see them here and then I want to make them all!  Great job!
