I just finished this clutch bag for my friend as a Christmas present.  It has a velcro closure on the flap thing.  The rose has a black button for the center.  I made it and the strip of pink on the flap out of bias tape, and the rest of the fabric was left over from a tote bag I made last year.  The tinyweenie little handle is just ribbon.  Yay!!  I hope she likes it.

Oh, and I hope I did this picture posting thing correctly...

EDIT:  I made an attempt at a tutorial.  Hope this helps.  If the pictures come out funny looking and small, click on the links below them for the full sized pics.

Thanks you guys!  I hope that tutorial helped you, Tinapickles  Smiley
Oh, and I forgot to mention that if you need the clutch to be stiffer, just use interfacing in between the fabric layers.  I used some because I knew it would be too flappy without it.

very cute, i just made one similar to this, only it had a zipper instead of a flap. Perfect for a little cash, chapstick, cell phone and license! (and maybe a few sticks of gum Smiley )

I loved this tutorial. I just made one, and it was super easy, thanks to your instructions. I'd put up a picture, but there is a sad lack of a digital camera.

I put fusible interfacing on both the outside fabric and the liner.  That made it pretty stiff, and it holds its shape well.  One suggestion, do not dance with it around your wrist.  I got dipped, and smacked myself in the face!  It was pretty funny. Grin
