So I bought some rad doileys from Michaels (2 for $1 Canadian), and sewed them on to a cardigan i bought at Old Navy for twenty bucks. This combination spawned a totally rad cardy.

Doileys are the new Ug boots, everyone! Get 'em while they're hot!!! Steal 'em from your Grandmas! Crochet up some maddness!

Now THAT is rockin'.
I always think of doiley's as those little coastery white ones that my great grandmother used to make (shudder), but those are totally cool!
I want it, so bad.

That is cool!  Did they come green, or did you dye them?

Hott!! I like that it's sassy and still work-appropriate. Would look beautiful on a t-shirt or a line skirt too. Great idea.

I might have to see if my Joanns has pretty doilies.  I refuse to set foot in Michaels unless it's an emergency (and so far, that emergency has only been to find record album frames since no one else sells them).

I just am imagining the possibilities for them!

VERY hott. I love the placement. Are the doilies white, or v. light green as they appear in the picture?
