I love how the self striping yarn makes the star look!! and no its not weird that you're making a baby blanket for a lady at the grocery store, as long as its not weird i'm making booties and a hat for my car insurance lady's grandbaby

This is awesome!
I'm actually making a gift for my bf's cousin's gf, who is pregnant, and have been using the Bernat Sweet Stripes in Candy Stripes for a cardigan and toque. I wanted to make a blanket for her as well, and I cam on Craftster to look for a star pattern to try my hand at (I've always loved the blanket, but been to afraid to try it)
How coincidental that I find yours Smiley

Thanks for the pattern...I'll post pics if/when it works out for me Smiley

That's pretty. My friends are moving house, so I think I'll try to make this a bit bigger and in non-baby colours.
