I made sure that my lengths of chain for each "drop" were two inches longer than the previous one.  For example, my shortest piece (the one closest to my neck) is 16 inches, then 18 inches, etc.  The longest piece I have is 24 inches.  I put jump rings on both ends of each chain piece and then layed them out on my work surface so that the 16 inch was on the top, and the chains increased in size to the 24 inch on the bottom.  I then took two more jump rings and connected all of the jump rings on one side with one, loading them right to left on the left side, and left to right on the right side.  By loading them opposite directions, you make sure that the chains stay "in order".  You then can attach your clasp or extender chain, etc, onto the jump rings and you're done!

I hope this made sense...I can try to take closer pics and explain it later.  Also, I did a little trick with my clasp so that I could make it convertable between long and short...that part definitely would need pictures to explain!

Thanks for all of the comments!

"Wist" is short for "weblist"...It's a compilation of bookmarks of sites or pictures/projects you like.  Being wisted is a very good thing! Smiley
