TUTORIAL ON MY BLOG: http://sugarnsnails.blogspot.com/2007/10/plastic-bag-rosette-tutorial.html

So last night I was browsing Craftster and looking at all the awesome things that you crafty peeps have made with plastic bags, and I decided that I wanted to jump on the crinkly plastic bandwagon too. Well I don't knit so I couldn't make a plastic yarn bag, and maybe I'm just craftily impaired but when I tried fusing bags together it really didn't go well. But I AM good with scissors and a hot glue gun, so this is what I made.

Each flower is made with one plastic bag, a button from secondhand clothing, and a bobby pin attached to the back. Super easy and super cute.

They look great on you. Recycling and they won't get damaged if it rains!

OMG. Can you say "This Rocks"? What a fabulous idea - to make something so pretty and wearable out of something so... well... mundane! You are a genius!

The flower is just one piece that's folded and cut. If anyone is interested I can try to make a tutorial, because it's hard to explain without pictures showing each step.
