hey everyone, i just finished this sweater about a half hr ago. i haven't even put buttons on it yet. its for my DD although it doesn't look like it'll fit her til she's four. (its actually a size 24 month pattern) but i didn't do a swatch and i used a slightly bigger guage than it called for b/c typically i crochet pretty tightly. the pattern i used was called pink precious, something my MIL gave me and the yarn was encore colorspun i think. it has gray, blue, teal, and purple in it. i don't like tradional baby sweater colors, obviously. anyway, here ya go. let me know what you all think. thanx for looking!  Cheesy

sorry for the sideways pics, i tried making them vertical but they got all stretched out and goofy looking.

That is adorable!!  I love the colours, and I'd really like a me-sized version! Boo to traditional baby colours!

Absolutely darling! May I ask what pattern you used, please?  I'm teaching a friend to crochet and I'm sure she'd love to make something like this for her DD, too.

i know the pattern was called pink precious and it was by darla sims, but it was from a book of patterns which unfortunately, i don't know the name of. i'm in co and its in mi but i'm going there in a couple days so if you don't mind waiting i could find out in a week or two.

Nice!  I love the picot border.  I guess all your have to do now is wait for her to fit into it!  I've also fudged the gauge before.  Not a pleasing experienced, but oh well.

I don't mind waiting if you're willing to look it up. Thanks! Smiley
