I just finished my calorimetry last night too!  Cheesy all but the button, go figure I can't find one in my entire crafting stash Angry  I loved how quick and easy it was. The yarn you chose is gorgeous! What is it?

Hey! I love the colors, too. I used Paton's Classic Merino in "Harvest". SO SOFT. I just have to hand wash it, I'm horribly afraid of felting it.

Calorimetry is a free pattern from www.knitty.com's Fall 2006 issue. Search it up in the archives. It would be a great beginning project, after you learn to knit and purl, because that's all there is to it! Great job, post pics when you're done!

My knitting group knits at a pub on mondays. We call our group the purl and hurl. I try not to knit anything too complicated on these nights.

HAHA, my husband (the only man I know of who knows what a purl is) gets the pun and thinks it's absolutely hilarious!

(I live in too small of a town to have a knitting group, and there isn't a yarn shop for 300km in any direction, so I'm jealous!!)

that is absolutely beautious!!

god i tried knitting while drunk last night. i am attempting to make a hat with brioche stitch in the round. um, DIDN'T WORK!!!! lol. i get confused enough trying to knit the thing sober. but man, that was work last night. i should try it with something more simple in the future.

it's hilarious, knitting and alcohol together...such a strange combination...

It's one of my absolute favorite combinations! I love to sit in the living room while getting a little bit liquored up with my mother-in-law as we knit and giggle at the morons on TV.

It might not be the most productive way to knit, but it certainly keeps things interesting! Definitely a straight stockinette endeavor, though..
