I've been knitting and crocheting for a couple of years now and have managed to make a few little guys during that time.

The bear is from a children's crocheting book - I would state the name but I can't remember it right now. He was my first toy and became a gift for a friend. That little red spot on his hip is actually a tiny little heart button I just couldn't help but add. He's a little shabby but was made with care.

The bird was a bit of a happy accident. I was trying to crochet in round for the first time and made this wonky little ball. Just recently I decided to add eyes and a beak and gave him to the same friend as a housewarming gift.

Again a little shabby. The only things I really feel like I need to work on are sewing on the eyes and embroidering.

Anyway, thanks for looking Smiley.

The bear is wonderful, I like how lanky he looks. Also, I could use a scarf like his right about now!

But really, for your first toy, he's very impressive. I can't crochet at all, so he blows my mind.  Wink
