Just wanted to share this neat scarf i made for the Fall/Winter Scarf swap! I wanted to do something totally different and so i started thinking of objects that were long and thin and the first thing that came to mind was a pencil! So i did it up!


complete with eraser and lead tip Smiley



i started with pink, for the eraser and i think i started with 15 hdc's, then each row i added another hdc on the first st and last st and gradually made it wider.. Smiley hope that helps!

This is amazing, it would be perfect for a gift I need to make. How long did it take you and if you don't mind me asking how did you do the shaping on the rubber end?

Awesome! I need to make one for my aspiring elementary school teacher friend. I also like the idea of a crayon one, there could be a whole set: pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, etc. Too fun!  Grin
