I did this for my Grandmom for Christmas, I am really happy with how it came out.  I used only 1 1/2 balls since my Grandmother is very petite and it still is long.

My So Called Scarf
http://www.sheepinthecity.prettyposies.com/archives/000079.html
1 1/2 hanks of Manos del Uruguay in a long discontinued color
Size 11 needle
Followed pattern as is.
Took 2 weeks, but that is only because I have too much other stuff going on.

Thanks for looking!   Grin

This is GORGEOUS!  I just found this pattern today and I'm planning to start work on it soon.  Seriously, those colors are amazing!

This is truly lovely--love the way the yarn sort of self-striped.  And it will be so warm with the Manos!  Rock on.  Cheesy

I love your scarf!  Very nice colors  Smiley

I started this a few weeks ago and love how it looks.  It took me a couple of times to start it because I wasn't familiar with the stitches and mistakes are so hard to fix!

Love the scarf.  Looked at it a couple weeks ago and printed out the pattern.  Have to get pics and post .  Did a narrow one on 20 stitches with double strand of wool.  Just kept knitting until I ran out of yarn using 2 skeins.  It is neat.  Will try to post soon.  Thank you for posting  the pattern!

Oh I love that scarf ! This pattern stays in (one of) the first place of my to-do projects since I discovered it 3 months ago. You did a great job. I'm sure your grand-ma will be very proud to wear it.
