This is a scarf I knit for my niece's 9th birthday using Crystal Palace Splash.  I just cast on 10 stitches and knit every row until the yarn was all used up.

That looks great. I'm sure your neice is going to love it.
I bought a pile of this in a reduced bin quite awhile ago. I have never used any of it though, because it never came with any instructions.
I'm wondering if it's machine washable and, how well it will stand up over time.
Because I've been thinking of using it for trimming things like baby blankets, mittens, etc....

Thanks for all the compliments.  I'm blushing!   Grin

For care instructions, I'm sure you could go to Crystal Palace's Web site.  I haven't written up a care tag for my sister-in-law, and the yarn band is at home, so I can't tell you what it says.

To me, it feels much stronger than Crystal Palace Fizz and even Lion Brand Fun Fur, so I think it will hold up well.

I'm not usually all that keen on novelty/fuzzy yarns, but that colourway is incredible! (Also the scarf sort of looks like a fabulous boa, which is always a good thing.)
