So my uncle is getting married this Sunday; Saturday, there's a huge party.  I needed a wrap for a sleeveless dress, since we'll be partying to all hours of the evening.  I had some hand painted yarn that I bought over a year ago and it was the right color to blend well with the dress.  Originally, I was planning on doing the snowdrop pattern throughout the entire stole, but after six repeats, I determined that it would take me four months to finish... so I modified my design and have the snowdrop repeats running up the middle and outer edges with stocikinette panels in between.

It still ended up taking a couple weeks to make, which is too long in my opinion, but it's warm and pretty!

Beautiful!
Really lovely--the color, the pattern, everything about it.

I've been wanting to make myself a stole with a lacy pattern, and I like this one for inspiration, with the vertical pattern and some extra lace at the edge. Awesome!

That is really pretty. So if the color! I'm not usually one to like lacy items, but this is something even I'd want to wear!!!  Smiley

This is beautiful! The snowdrop pattern turned out great... and I think it has an interesting look with just the three panels on the main part and the ends. I just loooove that color, too! So pretty for fall!

SO GORGEOUS.  Seeing things like this made from other knitters is really what keeps me going... the hope that someday I'll be able to make something as beautiful.  I love the color, too.  Very earthy.
