In keeping with the theme of Monopoly, I have taken the board, pieces, and most of the box to create an ensemble for our high rolling real estate agent:

First, a tote to hold her necessary tools -
front
and back
made from the board and the cardboard insert in the box
inside
I used the bank's cash holder to create pockets inside

A notebook and mock-ups of proposals for new houses and hotels

close up of the proposals
Inside the notebook, the "rules of the real estate game" and her to-do list
And look!  She's got a cocktail party tonight for a new hotel opening!  Must get ready.  Here's her purse, with business card holder, checkbook, and compact

inside the purse
and finally, a dress fit for the occasion

Her jewelry consists of earrings made from the dice, necklace made from part of the property cards, and of course, the expected charm bracelet from the tokens.

The dress was made from the Chance and Community Chest cards for the straps, and ALL the money was shredded to create the fringe  (whew!).  Purse was made from property cards, the railroad and utility company cards form the inside pocket, parts of the box line the inside.  Houses and hotels became the handle.  Crushed hotels make up the mosaic look on the compact.  All of the parts of the game were used, including most of the box.  The parts of the box that were not used were not in good condition (this edition is about 35+ years old, so the box wasn't in good shape).

This was fun!  Although my family and friends think I'm stranger than before!  Grin
