i love the flesh ripped parts the best! the edges for your 'mockup' of the ripped out heart were fan-freakin-tastic, the missing neck and chin pieces..just amazing!

You are amazingly talented. The make up is so realistic and to be honest I think if I saw your halloween costume and the 2 leading up to it in real life I'd feel physically sick. So realistic. I'm so squeamish.  Tongue I'd try and learn to do stuff like that if it weren't for the fact the final result might make me puke  Wink

I <3 stuffies, cute things and anything totally rad.

That last set had me in awe of your skill.  I, like the other followers of this thread, am quite disappointed that October is over.

... 'till next year *salute*

This month was so much work, but in the end, it was so very worth it.  What I did got people talking; it got me noticed.  The haunted house I've idolized for all my gore-loving life wants to hire me next year.  I might get to help out with the makeup for a movie.  I'm going to be in the town paper again.  Most importantly to me, though, is that it got me some much needed experience.  This time around, I had a camera and I documented everything religiously.  I actually have something real to add to my portfolio to get my foot in the door.  I hadn't done anything makeup-like since May, and I just played around and kept at it.  I learned so much in such a short time because there was so much trial and error.

Now that I've done this, I'm moving my focus off gore for a short while.  I want to be well rounded, so I'm going to try my hand at some expanded beauty makeup and abstract work.  However, just because October is over, it doesn't mean I'll be waiting a year for the good times.  Already I envision something wonderful...
