This is the 50th anniversary of Jack Kerouac's On the Road. I had a beat up little footstool and I was looking through my old children's books and found this story about a car that went west. Voila-decoupaged book stand now!!

Looks great!
Did you just use mod podge to do it? I just decoupaged my first box.. a box from the dollar store , I painted it black then used just white glue and water for the decoupage part and i pasted this cover on it.. cracks me up every time..

For this one I sanded ,primered, painted a few times then used mod podge to adhere. After that I polyurethane -I think I did 3 on this one. Here's another http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=179007.0
