I'd like to get into free motion.  I've been practicing different motifs on muslin sandwiches.  Flowers, stippling, etc.

I'm doing stitch in the ditch at the moment, but I'd like to do some free motion in the blocks.  Any ideas on what would look best?

I'm sure after I do a few, I'll be able to see for myself, but for now it would be nice to get some direction in choosing.
