It seems everyone has skulls on the mind this time of year Wink I've been turning them into stitch markers, but a friend of mine has requested earrings as well. The beads pictured are translucent white & glow-in-the-dark. They're each just under 1/2" long.

Awesome! They'd look cool on a necklace too.

Grin Thanks, everyone! I think the skulls have started to take over as they're everywhere in my studio.

did you paint on the designs or are they done with clay also?

I'd considered doing the whole thing out of clay, but then the realization that I would probably be mass producing them kicked in. Each skull is hand sculpted. I tried using a mold, but that actually took more time. After they've cured, I attack them with acrylic paints and glaze them to protect the paint.

Your beads are marvelous.

You're right. The Day of the Dead is around the corner. These make me want to go out and make sugar skulls.
