It's super easy.

On a piece of fabric draw a circle 9cm in diameter. Cut .5cm away from this circle. That is your seam allowance.

Sew running stitch on the line you drew. Pull the thread so that it gathers and the fabric forms a little pouf, but do not close off the hole completely.

Put stuffing in the pouf. Now pull the thread so that the pouf closes completely.

Sew some stitches at the bottom to secure it.

Stuff the whole thing in a bottle cap.

Decorate!

You're done!

It's so teensy and adorable! Either this or the felted mushroom... can't decide! Would be especially cute if all your pins were the same colors as the cushion... albeit hard to find on the cushion.

What kind of bottle cap did you use??  At first I was picturing a beer style bottle cap, but now I can see that's not the case.

Great -- but how wide an elastic do y'all recommend to keep it from sliding around or cutting off circulation?  A dumb question, I know, but I seem to be elastically challenged -- I ALWAYS get it wrong....
