Ah, that's the beauty of it- it's Red Heart Super Saver in pink! Unfortunately, I can't think of anything else to use it for. Maybe I should make a troupe of flying piggies and sell them, or make a mobile or something.

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.

Personally I'd love a troup of flying pigs.  Then I could be the wicked-witch of the Mid-Atlantic.  Flying monkeys are passe anyway.

The image of a wicked witch with flying pigs made me laugh very, very hard. Thank you for brightening my morning. =)

My bf griped to me that he was the only family member who hadn't received a crocheted item from me since I learned to crochet in January.

So, I thought this would be the perfect thing for him.  He's all done, except for the wings.  It's the last feather tip that I am struggling with.

I will muster on though and attempt the wings a third time.

Thanks for the pattern.  He was fun to make, even if my hands ached from working on something so small  Smiley.

I finished my pigs!! One is plain pink, the other is a hippy piggy, made from part of one of those 88c skiens of yarn at Wal-mart.

Since I need to save bandwidth, please click this link to see them: http://photobucket.com/albums/v660/swaller/Knitting%20and%20crochet%20projects/

The pattern is so much fun!

Yay for the hippie pig!  I was going to be stubborn and only make him in pink, but I think now that I might make a yellow one for my cousin's new baby.  Now...to wing or not to wing......
