Hmm. I've tried this pattern several times, and the "Nose" always seems very small, not like in the picture, and the body deformed...Huh

Hi, piggy creator here. I've actually been looking at a few of my old patterns lately and going, "WHAT WAS I THINKING?". I didn't have the first clue what I was doing. I have a week vacation coming up--I may go through and make some changes, so check my free patterns page on my blog and the patterns may improve.

Her dirty paws and furry coat,
She ran down the forest slope.
The forest of talking trees,
They used to sing about the birds and the bees.
The bees had declared a war,
The sky wasn't big enough for them all.

How awesome! I take the bus everymonth to L.A. (7 hour ride) so I'm always crocheting on it. What a new perfect project  Grin

I did the piggy pattern and didn't have any problems, except with the wings.  I just kind of did my own thing and I think he turned out great.  I used Catania cotton and a size 0 hook so he's a bit on the tiny size, but he's adorable.  Thanks for sharing the pattern!

i made my pig ages ago, around may of 2005, as an end-of-the-school-year gift for my friend. she wanted a stuffed pig really bad, so when i came across this pattern i knew i just had to make it!!  apparently, the hook i used was way too big for the yarn and it came out looking kinda funny. but it was also a project that really got me *hooked* on crochet 'cause i realized how easy it was - i mean, i had only done 0,5 project before, and there i was, making this toy!!
to make the long story short, THANK YOU, myloveasdeep, for the lovely pattern!!!!! you can tell that my friend loves her piggy, and i'm sooo glad:)

i was just going to say something about the flying pig marathon... flying pigs are everywhere in the city already but i think it'd be cool to have some crocheted ones around too!
