Thanks for including the pattern! Definately first on my 'to-crochet' list.

I printed out your pattern and had it on my "to-do" pile.  My son found it and started screaming, "MAKE ME ONE, MAKE ME ONE!!!" (he's 4, BTW).  Excellent job!!  Grin

that's so cute! Thanks for the pattern. I'm making a test pig right now, and then I'm going to make one with a rattle inside for my cousin's baby that's on the way.

I have a question about the wings, though. It says to do 3 sc. Do I need to make a chain first, or do I put the sc straight onto the pig?

Hmmm...I think that very first 3 sc is a typo. The very first thing you do is make a chain. The wings are made separately from the pig. I'm checking my notes....yep, typo. Sorry! It should be :

Ch4. Turn and do 3 sc on the chain. Ch 1 turn.
3 sc, ch 3, turn, 3 sc on chain. 3 hdc on next 3 sc. ch 1 turn.
3 sc, ch 4. Turn, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in ch, 3 hdc in scs. ch 1, turn.
4 sc in hdcs.  Ch 5, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, 3 sc in ch, 3 hdc in scs. Ch 3 .
*Work 4 dc decreases down the edge of wing opposite the feaher ends. Ch 3, turn, repeat from * once. Fasten off.
Sew to body just behind ears.

Sorry about that!!
