I can't wait to show her tomorrow (and I'll add the obligatory 'action shot' after that).  I tend to make a bit more for my oldest (age 7 1/2) daughter, but I made this for my baby (age 5).  I think that she'll like it.

I'm contemplating adding a stencil of some sort - but, I'm just not sure.  Was thinking maybe just a simple 'H' on the corner, as that is her initial.  What do you think?

Comments welcome!!!

It's really cute, I love the lining and color coordination of the cords.  Maybe an H with a little tiara above it?  My little cousins love princess things, just an idea.  Either way I know that she'll love the bag.  Grin

They'll name a city after us-and later say it's all our fault.

Thank you - yes, my girls love 'princess-y' things too.  It will likely depend on whether or not she will give it back to me after I show her..... lol.  Either way, I'm pleased with it.

Oh - and, the cording ... it is actually a hardware cording that I found on clearance at Target - occasionally, I get lucky - and, this was one of those times!!!  Very pleased!!!

What a cute bag.  I love the fabric...inside and outside.  I need one about this size to carry my daughters things in when we are not going to be out for long and I don't want to mess with the big diaper bag.

Good job!

Thanks, guys.  My daughter loved it!  I hope to get a picture of her with it by the weekend.  I will add the picture when I do - as it does show the bag better (in use) than any of the pictures here do.

I love that your nail polish matches the bag Cheesy
I could never keep mine looking that neat, they always end up getting chipped!
