Eurasia thanks you Smiley

I figured it would have to be cheaper/faster to ship to sweden than to the US...is that right?
Of course it sometimes seems to take longer to ship from US to Canada than US to Europe.

The USPS is a fickle mistress...

Thanks to my hubby and sons being busy reshingling the garage roof, I had the day free to craft!  So, 8 hours later, I'm done my item and very happy with it.

I hope my partner will like it as much as I do considering there is over 25 years age difference between us  Grin

Done already? =O I'm sure I'll love it! And my tastes are pretty open.
I still have a little bit more to go on yours ^^

It is quite the swap though ^^ Am I your youngest partner so far? I know you're my oldest, but I haven't done too many swaps yet. It's funny how that works out ><

No, you aren't the youngest I've had - I was once paired with a 13 year old.

I had a 13 year old partner once too.  I am constantly amazed by the stuff that teenagers make on craftster.  When I was that young I mostly just altered my clothes, and the sewing was of the sort where you're afraid to put it in the laundry, as the agitation may just rip it apart!

that's great! when I was that young, I played a bit with beads and some polyclay, but nothing I'd ever dare show even my parents!

Sent!

But I was just wondering, how do you go about getting a tracking number for something flat-ish? (in an envelope)

See, it cost me about $3 to send it... but with the tracking number it boosted me up to about $10  Shocked (my mom had to send it while I was at school due to time constraints - so I couldn't very well ask the post-person about it. She paid for Registered Mail)

I've seen it mentioned in swaps that in the US, DCs only cost a few cents more... but I'm wondering for future reference, what should I have done? (I'm Canadian)
Or is this really the only option I have?  Embarrassed

Is it required for Canada at all? I know it's not required outside america, or I'd never be able to afford swapping..
