I really like making these. Someday they'll all grow up to be jewelry. I think the ones on the right are still a bit damp in the middle. I'm hoping the peacock blue will brighten up a little when it's completely dry.

As you can see, I used too much pressure too soon when I was rolling the red and black ones, and got a "wrinkle".

And a felted soap!  It's mandarin orange scented, but I put a cherry on it anyway. lol  Not quite dry, so you can still see some suds. The cherries are still kind of 3-D and rounded. I'm interested to see what will happen to them as it gets used.

Thanks for looking!

Those are very cute. However, what do you mean felted soap? Is it a sock to put the soap in or is it coated in soap?

Never mind. One brief google later, I'm clued in.

You basically knit around the bar of soap and as it gets smaller so does the knitted cover... they are pretty neat..

Yep, same idea, except I felted wool roving directly onto the soap instead of knitting a "pocket" and then felting.

This is my first one that I'll be keeping, but from what I've heard, the wool continues to shrink with the soap and when the soap's completely gone you're left with a flat little felt scrubbie. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.  Smiley
