These were just a couple of doodles I did on my notepad during a staff meeting. I ran out of supplies for some other projects I was working on, so I decided to stitch them up last night!

Both are so cute. I especially like the cute pig!!!!  I need to carry a little doodling pad around with me. Great idea.

May I ask what type of hoop you are using? I've just started embroidery (two weeks ago) and have a lot of beginner questions.

Thanks to everyone for the kind compliments!

sewflower- I've been using a very small Clover brand hoop, 4 3/4"  To be honest, I am a beginner at embroidery as well (if you couldn't already tell from my wonky stitches!) and this was the only alternative at my local Joanns to the super cheap wooden ones that were splintery and looked like the might fall apart if my boyfriend's rat breathed on them. So far it has worked out really well (Clover products are usually high quality), but I think I would like to get a larger one.
