Holiday Cookie/Candy/Recipe Swap Round 2

We could do this like an old-fashioned cookie swap - you know, bake 12 dozen, give one to each person and get one from each person back.

That might be kind of fun, but might increase the risk of flakage (and I'm not talking about the pastry kind).

I would love to be in and I think that you should include recipes of an item or two that you send.... so the recipient can make some for others.  EITHER WAY count me in!!

how exactly do you send baked goods, so that they actually arrive in a yummy condition? (without smushing/cookies breaking/chocolates melting?)

jw, I've never sent food, other than store bought, store wrapped goodies

I used to send cookies to my BFF when she went away to college. i would wrap each one in platic wrap and then wrap all of them in bubble wrap and place in a tin. they always made it to her safely and in tact. I am sure if you google "shipping cookies"  or "mailing cookies" you will get a bunch more info.

I know Walgreen's has some super cute cookie tins right now! They're easing them in with the Christmas stuff. There are a couple of different patterns in 4 or 5 different shapes/sizes.
