This is our front window from last year. The paper was super cheap, bought by the meter at the art supply store. I just cut out the silhouette shapes and taped it up. It was simple, inexpensive and the effect was great at night with light glowing from behind the blinds. It was pretty forgiving so I'll probably be a little less meticulous this year as I totally plan on doing it again. The only issue I had with this was the increased condensation on the windows.

This is fantastic!!! I wish we had cool windows at my house - I'd steal your idea and make a window out of my Halloween ATC!!! Alas, we only have stupid regular windows

Ha! I was mighty tempted to keep it up all year.  Cheesy

I'm trying to decide what to do this year.... a gaggle of witches, a sort of day of the dead procession, or a mad scientists lab. I swear I have no time to do laundry or the dishes but cutting out Halloweeny decorations somehow makes the top of the "to-do" list.

That's terrific! I just may do it to my apartment windows this year, if I can only find the time! Did you just use clear scotch tape?

I used clear packing tape... but only because my scotch tape was pretty cheap and didn't want to stick. I'm sure if you used better quality than I did it would hold it up.
