This may be the geekiest thing I've ever done. However, to a Whovian, a cigar box is really kind of asking for it. The Jelly Babies are to give you an idea of the scale (and because I'm a very silly person Cheesy).

Handle detail:

It was for my Halloween costume, but I'll probably end up using it everyday 'cos I'm really quite happy with how it turned out. It still needs little feet. It also isn't lined yet 'cos I painted it with oil-based paint, and I'm waiting for it to dry in spots.

Also, do you think I should get it dirty and rough it up like the real TARDIS, or leave it as is?

That is so freaking awesome!  I think it looks great as is and if you use it everyday then that'll rough it up a bit.  Great job!

That is super sweet! What is your halloween costume going to be if this is the purse?

One of the creepiest, scariest things I could think of: A weeping angel. (I went to Catholic school, BTW.) I live in America so I don't imagine that most people are going to "get it," but that happens with most of my Halloween costumes.

Totally awesome!  I love love love it!

And a Weeping Angel... creepy!  They're on my list of creatures I never want to run into.  So are you going to be accurate and only move when no one's looking? Wink

That weeping angels episode was chilling, still creeps me out a bit thinking about it.  That would be a very interesting costume.
