Fantastic! I think simplifying the picture is what makes it so great. Gives it that graphic edge. Love the lips and the elbow length sleeves and the fit looks perfect.

I can't think of anything I don't love about this project (except maybe that it's on you, and not me Wink) but I think I love the simplicity of the design the best.  Great work.  Brilliantly executed.

love that sweater.

now when you say the shaping on graph paper- you mean the shaping of the actual sweater, right? the waist and bust and such?
that method sounds awesome, is there a book out there that teaches you how to do it?

Wow, I am impressed with anyone that can knit. So... I am simply blown away by your "Afro Sweater".  That is really nice. I want one of these, problem being I can't knit and charts, duh Huh , you lost me there.  Anyway, WELL DONE!!!
