So I made this afghan/lapghan for a friend of mine as a housewarming present.  I think he'll like it in his new place (dark floors, leather furniture etc).  It seems like a good pattern for a guy.

This is the ultimate stash buster--it uses plenty of yarn, knits up really quickly (ie no counting!  woo!), and I think has a pleasing result.

The pattern is found in Mason/dixon knits, and I would really recommend this book as well.

Excuse the wavy lines etc--It hasn't been blocked, but to be frank, I really don't think he'll notice!   Grin  Cheesy

I think it looks really nice. I've checked out that book before, they have a lot of nice patterns.

I love it!

Very appropriate for a male or someone with a more modern decor. It looks fabulous.

I'll check into the book. I don't need another craft book though!  Smiley Smiley But I do love to buy them!  Smiley

Very nice ! The pattern would make a great quilt too (I actually thought it was a quilt when I saw the thumbnail).

Very nice.  I like seeing the pattern in different colors.  I'm working on the Courthouse Steps pattern right now.  The log cabin knits are perfect mindless TV/chatting with friends knitting.
