This is an awesome idea and executed beautifully!  I have to admit, I clicked on the link because it was titled Close Your Clothes, and the DH and I were just discussing the proper way to pronounce Clothes...which can either be pronounced like Close or like Clothes with the TH pronounced (the way I say it).
Anyways.  Love the book!!  One day, when I have kids, I will remember to do something like this.

oh my gosh, that's so funny! i think i alternate how i say depending on the speed i'm speaking with, but i've never thought about it. the phrase just popped into my head as a fun homophonic title.

This is A-MAZE-ING. I was looking at it going, "Oh, maybe I could make this for my upcoming baby." and then saw the inside, way out of my league, but absolutely beautiful!

I love all the little details in this- especially on the button-blouse and the shoes.  I still cherish the one my mother made me- even though the words were hand-written and not quite as clever as yours  Smiley

Just Wow!  I am rather new to crafting, and I have a question that probably everyone else knows;  How did you put the words on?  I *love* this idea, and my first one will not be quite as extensive as your masterpiece, but I thought I'd give it a try.  Maybe one day, I *can* create one with so much detail.  My friends keep poppin out the kids! lol!

Again, WOW

thanks so much!

and good question - the words are actually iron-ons. i bought tshirt transfers and printed out each poem with a border and whatever else around it, then ironed it onto each facing page. not sure how i would have done it otherwise!
