Winter is coming to northern Minnesota, guess who is making hats again.  Gotta keep the ears warm.  Needle felted first then wet felted - just like in the tutorial in D&Q

How do you find the texture of your hat after wet felting Grace? Wink I love it. You know i do.. lol. Especially the colour and detail.

Thanks CHL and lexis.

Lexis, Texture is smoother and thiner as a rule, less fuzzy.  It depends on how one wants the hat to perform.  I like totally needle felted for a softer fluffier feel - though a bit more fragile, IMHO.  The wet felted is great for a more defined shape and firmer smoother finish - though still crushable and soft.
