I wanted a way to make my boring pants a little spiffier, and i came up with this....
I think i'll make more pants cuffs, so i can coordinate with my other boring-arsed clothes. Camoflauge ones are definately in the works. SOOPER!
And i made a matching pin out of the same fabric. sorry the pics are so bad, my digicam is like the grandfather of all digicams.
AND!! someone wanted a tutorial... so here is my lame attempt!
1)measure how big you want your cuff to be (about the same length as it is around your favorite pair of pants) and how wide. I went for th regular cuff size, but a really wide one would be cool too, I think!
2)add an inch to the length and width, so you can hem it.
3)hem it!!
4)If you know how to make buttin holes or if you have grommets lying around, use those to make 3 sets of holes, so you can lace up your cuff!
5)if you dont have grommet or button hole skills, like me, grab some piping or some cord, and MAKE some holes, buy sewing it on, leaving gaps for the shoelace to go through.

And to wear the cuffs, i just slip them on, and pin 'em to my pants just in case the laces come undone by accident.
