This was my first finished scarf.  I'm really proud of finishing it, but I wish I would have made it about half as wide as it is. 



The teal is Red Heart Super Saver.  The brown is Caron Simply Soft (which knots like whoa)

Knitted on US size 8 needles. 

I even added a little pattern on each third of the scarf to spice things up!

Looks great, and I think you'll appreciate the width when it gets really cold out.   Grin

I LOVE teal and brown together, just a perfect combination.  And I agree, you will appreciate the width when you need your nose warm.  Wink

I agree, this color combo is just bomb. And you know, I did the exact same thing with my first scarf. And I knit it so tight it was stiff too!

But this is great for a first scarf! You don't see many first FOs that mix up stitches like you did. I bet you're off to a great start!
