That is a wicked dress. I agree about the appropriateness mostly due to the low cut back. But it is just a costume, so I like the idea of attaching wings, or maybe wear a shrug with it. Voting for this contest is going to be difficult!

LOVE IT! You got my vote! It is so fun and cool. I would love to wear that somewhere. Not only is it so clever and original but you did such a great job sewing it. It looks like a real dress!!!! Amazing. Must have been so hard. I also love the necklace and purse!!!! YEAH!!!!!!

I love finding new ways to create clothing out of "stuff" that normally shouldn't be made into clothing!  I love the contact/laminating idea...I tend to always do things the hard way, and that sounds so simple and brilliant!

(I wish MY 14 year-old was spending her time making things like this!!)
