Oh! Ilovveeee it! Im fourteen as well, and i dont think its that bad! I really like it actually =] You could add straps or something if your mum isnt toooo crazy from the strapless variety. Anyway im totallly impressed, that looks like a ton of work! Dose it get really hot to wear since its basically like..plasticy?

I don't really know because I haven't worn it for more than 20 minutes. It doesn't get sticky though, because it's lined, so it doesn't stick to your skin. Grin

As a mom, I think the extra-low back opening is what's concerning your mom. It is a shining example of your skills, and I think if you added an insert to cover the bottom two or three inches of that opening, your mom wouldn't have to secretly follow you to Halloween parties with a baseball bat in hand. Grin

Great work. <3

There's not much more I can say that hasn't already been said about this dress. It's simply amazing and a totally inspiring item. My daughter is only 7, but I hope I can show her how to sew that well by 14, just WOW!!!

Too cool! I bet this took a ton of time to complete, but it's worth it. Where will you be wearing it? Lol, maybe you could make a matching shrug so your Mom will let you wear it out?
