I use the same stocking every year.  If I join this year, I'll ask for a stocking for the baby.

I bet some people use different stockings depending on how they decorate each year, though.

Awwww baby stockings! Are they generally smaller than regular stockings? Your baby will be born in Nov right? *pinches it's cheeks* Aw I want to be your swap partner so I can fill it up with all kinds of cutsiewootsie baby stuff!
I can't wait 'til my FH and I get a house, hopefully with a mantel. My best friend moved to an apartment with a fireplace, and the first thing BOTH of us thought was that we could hang stockings haha. oOo I think need to make her a stocking too. I'm going to be going stocking crazy!

If I don't end up joining & end up making him a stocking instead, I'll make it fullsize, just so he has a fullsize stocking when he gets older.  I'm totally cheesy and ya know I have to keep the same stocking for him forever... Grin

That's funny about the mantle!  We hang ours on the piano in the sitting room.  I lovvve decorating for the holidays.

My mom has an antique piano that I would be horrified if I saw nails sticking out of it haha. Do you have those uhmmm things that are heavy with a little hook on them to hang the stockings? (Sorry, neither me nor my coworker could think what those are called.)
