Julsey- Your sweater looks great.  What size did you knit it in?  And what was the gauge of the lion boucle?

Julsey, why was the sweater itchy?  Was it the Lion Boucle or something else?
How do I know about reality? I just play with sticks and string.

Hi guys!   Cheesy

Jessy -
I used the large size (I hav a 36" chest)...but the gauge was off by 2-3 stitches (Lion Boucle is 10-11 stiches/4 in not the 8 specified by the pattern)..So rather than recalculating, i just did a size up.  This one is really easy to resize as Stefanie mentions in the pattern...all you have to do is add more increase rows.

Zoe - i think it was the lion boucle that itches me...I'm a bit sensitive to wool (and blends apparently!)  I just wear a layering tee under it - solves the problem!

Has anybody used/thought of using the bulky boucle from http://www.handpaintedyarn.com?  Looks to be remarkably similar guage and oh so pretty. I just ordered some in this colorway: http://handpaintedyarn.com/product_info.php?products_id=331

I know I'm a bit late joining, but I'll be knitting-along as soon as my yarn gets here.  Cheesy
