Man, I've hit knitter's block.

I finished all the MC, but I hate hate hate the yarn I bought for all the ribbing. It's cotton, it splits, it doesn't show the ribbing,a nd I  just don't want to work with it. I guess I'll be ripping out and starting with some yarn I like better. Sad I wanted to finish this soon . . .

I just ordered the yarn for this from Elann yesterday--as soon as I get it, I'll be officially in my first Craftster knitalong!

i just made this while recovering from my wisdom tooth removal!!  it came out lovely, i just had to add a bit of length to it at the bottom....i did it in all black merino wool with an orangy gold trim only at the neck and arms (kept the waist black).  it was so easy and im very proud of it, as it was my first sweater ever.

I noticed that Jodi Green (who designed the Mariah sweater in the same issue of Knitty) has knit Cathode recently - there's a couple of photos on her blog here - http://www.jodigreen.ca/blog - just FYI.

Hi ladies!  This is my first post...I finished Cathode over the long snowy weekend, and wanted to share pics with you!  I also don't have a blog or website, so the only way I can post pics are thru shutterfly...(sorry!)

I used Lion boucle in Tutti Frutti for the MC, and Patons 100% merino wool in Royal Purple for the CC. It's cheap...and itchy! I also added buttons and button holes on the neckline...

Wow, it turned out great! Looks good on you in those colors. Smiley
Mine is creeeeeping along. I had the ingenious idea to use different yarn and change the gauge and um . . . it'll be done next winter. Tiny yarn + 6 inches of ribbing = SUCK. It's sad because I WANT it to be done so bad.

I have 500 yds of a Red Boucle coming from ebay , and I'm thinking this would be great. But This will be my first sweater. Is that crazy? I'm so glad I can get support here. Suggestions on the sport weight sub, are welcome.
I'm a bit more of a curvy gal, but I think it could be foxy.

This is the easiest sweater to knit (ok Tempting may be easier!)...I liked that it wasnt' the same thing the whole time, and there were no seams!  (I hate hate hate seams!)  500 yards of boucle should be enough.  I bought 6 balls of Lion Boucle and only used 4 1/2...

Keep it goin girls!  Erin -  my CC bottom ribbing was only 4 1/2 inches...I got really bored of doing that part!  I think i may add another 1/2 in...
