I have 2lbs + of medium grade lavender buds. Any suggestions on what I can do with it? I am so bored with sachets. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Dream pillows are also a nice way to use lavender. You can also crush them in a food processor and add them to body powder, facials or soaps.

Mixing them with bath salts sounds nice. Lavender is supposed to be really good when you have menstral cramps; at least in the oil form.

medium grade lavender buds

What's meant by medium grade?  I'm usually on the crochet boards and am not really into the toiletries board--yet.  However, I may be doing crochet neck pillow stuffed with lavender sachets this year as gifts for the holidays.   Are medium grade buds less fragrant, colorful, etc.?  How long does the fragrance last?

the medium grade buds where cheaper, they aren't quite a colorful, but the scent has lasted quite awhile. We ordered the lavender in June, the wedding was in August and all the left over lavender is still very strong. I hope that helps a bit.
