I have about 22 extra of the slats from a set of blinds and I don't want to throw them away.  Other than a picture frame, I have no ideas on what to use them for...

I know there must be something cool I can make! help???

The Readymade book shows how to make placemats-I think they used pencils or chopsticks.A long row.string at top and bottom. You have a long piece of string, folded in half.Slat-twist string, next slat,Or slat, twist, bead, slat. Can't describe it well, but it looked neat. It could make a scroll/mat thing, you could hang,& paint/stencil a simple image on.
Encircle a tall vase? Encircle a jar or can to make a vase? Swap it for something else?
